宣公始祖詩

不膺王爵孟加封，

He would not wear the royal title the Meng court conferred;

跋涉云山幾萬重，

he trekked through cloud and mountain, ten thousand folds deep;

來向江南為始祖，

he came to Jiangnan and became our founding ancestor;

兒孫千古仰高風。

for a thousand ages his descendants look up to his lofty spirit.
