不膺王爵孟家封，

He would not wear the royal title the Meng house conferred;

跋涉雲山幾萬重；

he trekked through cloud and mountain, ten thousand folds deep;

來向江南為始祖，

he came to Jiangnan and became our founding ancestor;

后人千古仰高風。

for a thousand ages those after him look up to his lofty spirit.
